Discover the Home of 24,000 Marine Specimens at the Nha Trang National Oceanographic Museum

Established in 1922, the museum is one of Nha Trang’s most iconic landmarks. Inside, marine life is preserved and displayed in glass tanks of various shapes and sizes, recreating a vibrant underwater scene. You can spot clownfish nesting in coral reefs, observe zebra moray eels hiding among rocks, walk through the shark tunnel, or learn about the behavior of saltwater crocodiles basking in the sun.

Converted from a French-built mountain tunnel, the museum also features geological and biological exhibits from the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Visitors can gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s maritime biodiversity, economic potential, and national sovereignty, as well as the importance of protecting these sacred islands.

From Wyndham Grand KN Paradise Cam Ranh, guests can easily travel to the museum by private vehicle or the resort’s shuttle bus service to Nha Trang city center. Tickets are available at the entrance, ranging from free to 40,000 VND, depending on age.
